37th November in a row that sets a record for warming

The global surface temperature is warming. Even though much of the United States was cooler than usual for the average temperatures in November, globally it was a new record for warmth.

Russia had the most significant difference in normal temperatures. Since 1981 when data started becing collected in national records, this November has been the warmest, as much as 8° C. This global surface temperature has been compared to past data and is the fourth warmest November period according to  the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). 

Also according to another NOAA report, " The combined average temperature over global land and ocean surfaces for November 2013  was record highest for the 134-year period of recording.
