Methane Hydrate

Via: http://soundwaves.usgs.gov/2012/06/
Methane Hydrate is a little known substance with a high energy potential. This seven minute YouTube video follows a team of German scientists as they attempt to map the deposits of methane on the ocean floor and determine if it may be "suitable for harvest." These scientists believe they may be able to extract methane hydrate and replace it with carbon dioxide, removing harmful CO2 from the atmosphere.
