Blizzard ≠ End of Global Warming

An article from the website Grist discusses the fact that a blizzard in the northeast (the one happening right about now) does not negate the reality of global warming, and that any Republicans or climate change deniers who beg to differ should continue reading (their article).

As catty as the article is, picking at people like Donald Trump and Sarah Palin, who in the past several years have issued statements denying global warming (and looking pretty silly doing it), it has a point. People who think that isolated and individual weather events, like crazy snow storms, signal the end of global warming, are ridiculous. Below is a video from the article that cleverly and creatively explains the failure of that logic, and the truth behind the matter:
