Carbon Dioxide in the Atmosphere:

Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, which has the ability to trap heat in the atmosphere. If it weren’t for greenhouse gases the earth would be frozen over. But because of our relatively recent use consumption of carbon dioxide, there is more CO2 now than there was 150 years ago. This is creating the world to be a warmer place. Test of the ice cores show us that there is now more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere than there has been in the past 420,000 years.
