In Australia Sydney’s Taronga Zoo is reporting unheard of
levels of turtles with small pieces of plastic in them. They have consumed so
much plastic that they are actually excreting rubber and plastic bags in their
tanks. This doesn't only apply to turtles; much of the other marine life is
consuming plastic as well. We may
even be eating plastic when we eat fish caught from the ocean. Read more of the Guardian article. here
