In 2006 TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie visited a small village
in Argentina; there he became close with a group of children and noticed they
had nothing to help protect their feet. From there he went on to create TOMS
shoes a company that would match every pair of shoes that they sold, and give them
to a children in need. The idea that
began as a simple idea has developed into a great business plan. TOMS has given
more than 35 million shoes to children in developing countries.
